Droopy is an anthropomorphic dog and the titular character of the Droopy animated theatrical shorts. His voice was originated by Bill Thompson.

Character description

Droopy is a tiny, very melancholic, and slow-moving dog. He has a white patch of fur and his mouth has massive jowls. His black ears are long, and above the top of his head is a patch of red hair.

In sharp contrast to all the zany characters that surround him, Droopy exhibits little to no emotion. He doesn't appear to go fast and his face is usually locked to a single, gloomy frown. Despite his seemingly unflattering looks, Droopy has a sharp mind of his own. He is intelligent and is shrewd enough to outwit anyone, including his enemies.
