Behind the scenes
- Birdcat's civilian name is revealed to be Sir Peter Pants.
- Gillian's surname is revealed to be Sans.
- BNBC's post sets the year as 2020.
- When Gillian imagines Judy being taken to court, it's in the same courthouse from Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law. There's even a cameo of a Lizardman (from the Jonny Quest episode "The Mystery of the Lizardmen"), in the audience, a common occurrence in that series.
- Gillian goes on a website that looks like a parody of Reddit.
- When Birdcat gets free, his travels are done in the style of the TV drama series Touched by an Angel, appropriately renamed to Touched by a Birdcat.
- Birdgirl parodies the "Stop! Hammer time," line from the MC Hammer song "U Can't Touch This," when she goes to take a shower and says "Shower time" and dances off the same way.
- In Judy's bedroom, there are photos of her time as Birdgirl working at the White House in Harvey Birdman: Attorney General.
- Despite the name of the episode, Gillian isn't addressed on-screen by name as Thirdgirl, if that was intended to be her official name for her alter ego. She is only referred to as a "three-headed monster."
Errors
- Gillian pictures Stew as one of the people who could find out about Judy's secret if they weren't careful, but Stew was killed in "Pilot." It's possible his death wasn't discovered.
