- Mystery Inc.'s scuba diving outfits are based on the designs of the scuba diving outfits they wore in the Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! episode "A Clue for Scooby Doo."
Errors
- It's unclear what the episode title is referring to because there is no backstory given to the swamp monster, so what's the revenge about?
- Scooby wonders where the squirrels have gone to while he chases them, but they looked more like gophers, although the intention might've been ground squirrels, although that seems unlikely, since there was also a common tree squirrel, too.
- On the night of the golfing tournament, the moon changes from full to crescent.
- Only three golfers remained besides Chris, but in the montage of the golfers playing at night, there were three extra golfers playing.
- Burt Friendly is listed as A. Friendly on the scoreboard.
- There's always an "R. Smith" listed on the scoreboard, but none of the male golfers are identified with that name.
Legacy
- Burt Friendly has a cameo in "The Nightmare Ghost of Psychic U!," where his photo appears in Max Fielding Psychic University's 1965 yearbook. Although how would that not make him an old man today?
