"Octi Evil" is the first part of episode three of The Powerpuff Girls season one, and the fifth episode overall. It aired on December 2, 1998 on Cartoon Network. It was written by John McIntyre and Zeke Kamm, and directed by Genndy Tartakovsky and series creator, Craig McCracken.
Him—a fearsome and diabolical demonic entity—talks through Bubbles's stuffed animal, Octi, giving her negative influnce and advice to split her sisters up.

Behind the scenes
- The episode's title is like a pun on "quasi evil". 'Nuff said.
- The three-headed monster which appears in the beginning of this episode resembles the Hydra.
- This is one of the few episodes where the girls turn against each other, along with "A Very Special Blossom" and "Simian Says".
