"Gourmet Gator" is the twenty-fifth episode of Wally Gator season two, and the fifty-first overall, which came as part of The Hanna-Barbera New Cartoon Series. It aired on August 19, 1963 in syndication. It was produced and directed by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, the founders of Hanna-Barbera.

Wally, tried of eating swamp grass all the time, escapes from the zoo to sample food from a local restaurant, however, his attempts usually lead him into getting caught and thrown out by the chef.
