"Baby Barney" is the ninth episode of The Flintstones season three, and the sixty-ninth overall. It aired on November 9, 1962 on ABC. It was written by Warren Foster, and produced and directed by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, the creators of the series and the founders of Hanna-Barbera Productions.
To stay on his rich Uncle Tex's short list of inheriting money, Fred tells him that he has a baby boy named after him; the baby in question is Barney in disguise.
