Release

Dates are in order of release:

Behind the scenes

  • With every episode's title card, one of the gang announces the guest star, which is Velma this time.
  • While Johnny's claim of Max Kilobyte being the first "robotic contestant" is true, the real-world Jeopardy! did have contestants up against a machine called IBM Watson in 2011.
  • The way Scooby sticks his head out of the barrel to see Max is the same as when Scooby stuck his head out of a barrel to see Charlie the Funland Robot in the Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! episode "Foul Play in Funland."
  • At the beginning of the episode, when Shaggy is introduced, Johnny also uses Shaggy's real name of Norville.
  • The episode proved to air posthumously as Alex Trebek had died on November 8, 2020; in fact it aired sooner in tribute of him, which sucks because must we have the celebrity die in order for these episodes to air much sooner than they usually would do?

Errors

  • When Alex chats to the contestants about themselves in the real Jeopardy!, he starts with the third contestant, not the first.
