The All-New Super Friends Hour, also known as Super Friends, is an American animated superhero TV series produced by Hanna-Barbera and DC Comics for ABC's Saturday morning line-up. It ran in 1977, airing 15 episodes.
The Super Friends/Justice League are joined by Zan and Jayna, junior superheroes with actual superpowers (unlike the Junior Super Friends), along with their pet monkey, Gleek, and a whole slew of guest stars, including newly created ethnic ones, which causes more problems than fixes them. Some of these additions, such as Apache Chief and Black Vulcan, are spoofed by themselves on Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law.
