Behind the scenes
- This is the first appearance of Cavey Junior since The Flintstone Kids episode "Captain Cavedog" in 1988.
- The ending of the last episode, "Beyond the Valley of the Dinosaurs", gives Phil a minor C-plot for this episode, where spends all his time fighting dinosaurs brought over from the hot tub time machine portal.
- The sequence during Harvey's song lampoons the Disney films Cinderella and Beauty and the Beast, particularly the ballroom dance from the latter.
- Mentok says, "Chisel me this, chiseler," the same way Riddler was known to say, "Riddle me this, Batman."
- The joke of two of the strippers being called Pixie and Dixie is a reference to the mouse duo stars of The Huckleberry Hound Show. Dixie is also referred to as "Little Dixie."
- Ferguson-Hull, Jeff Brody, Jon Henshaw, Victor Beitzel, Bryan Capik, Les Harper, Steve Vitale, Mario Orlando, Brian de Tagyos, Adam Fuchs provide audio commentary for this episode on DVD releases.
