  • United States: October 16, 1998 on Cartoon Network

Behind the scenes

  • The Mayor's wife called him Barney, a name that hasn't resurfaced since. In fact, when he was announced in "Impeach Fuzz," he was referred to as the Mayor even when he had been (temporarily) succeeded by Fuzzy Lumpkins.
  • The climax of the Powerpuff Girls destroying the giant disco ball blocking the sun is a direct reference to the Rebels destroying the Death Star in the 1977 film Star Wars.

Errors

  • Buttercup made a snapping sound with her hand despite not having fingers.
