"Marshall Wally" is the sixteenth episode of Wally Gator season two, and the forty-second overall, which came as part of The Hanna-Barbera New Cartoon Series. It aired on June 17, 1963 in syndication. It was produced and directed by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, the founders of Hanna-Barbera.
A fairy godmother appears to grant Wally three wishes, and Wally wishes to be a real western marshal, just like western television hero, Marshal Drillem, however, things don't go quite as Wally planned.
