Cover of the space camp prize box.

The Jetsons Cereal was a multi-grain breakfast cereal made of cinnamon oats and apple flavoring with apple bits, shaped like stars, crescent moons, and rocket ships, which was manufactured by Ralston Purina and sold in retail stores in 1990, as a marketing tie-in for the theatrically released Jetsons: The Movie. Several different boxes were made with different free gifts, which included "galaxy launchers," "lunar launchers," a starry mobile which can be made from the box itself. There was also the prize trip to space camp that you could enter, which was probably as reliable as building the starry mobile. The boxes feature the Jetsons family and Astro.

A cartoon commercial was televised to promote it, wherein the Jetsons are having the cereal one morning at home at Skypad Apartments. Mr. Spacely comes up on the videophone asking why George is late, and it's all because of the nutritional breakfast he's having. Elroy sends a bowl of it Spacely via a chute, which lands on his head, temporarily angering him until he tastes it. The voices from the movie reprise their role, which included Jeff Bergman as George and Mr. Spacely, Jane Singleton as Jane, Jean Vander Pyl as Rosie, and Patric Zimmerman as Elroy. Judy also appears, but is silent. Astro is absent, even though he does appear on the cereal box.
