"Yogi Bear's Big Break" is the first episode of Yogi Bear season one, and came as a segment of The Huckleberry Hound Show. It aired in the week of September 29, 1958 in syndication. It was written by Charles Shows and Dan Gordon, and produced and directed by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, the founders of HB Enterprises.
Yogi, tired of being patronized and having the kids shout "Look at the bears!," decides to escape from Jellystone Park.
