Behind the scenes
- The episode has an infamous reputation for its use of Japanese people. In particular was the case of Rockimoto, who is primarily based on racial stereotypes that were common at the time of its airing.
- It is also the only episode in the series that has not aired on MeTV, likely due to the precieved negative stereotypes stated above. Despite this, it still airs on Boomerang.
- On Tubi, a disclaimer by Warner Bros. is shown before the episode in regards to these stereotypes; explaining, "It may depict some of the ethnic and racial prejudices that were commonplace in American society. These depictions were wrong then and are wrong today."
