Behind the scenes
- A sixteen-page ashcan edition was published on December 18, 2024.
- The variant by Dan Panosian was cut from this issue and later used as variant for Issue #3.
- Quasar is another name for Amzot, which is an allusion to how Amzot was renamed in the 80s Herculoids cartoon segments of Space Stars.
- Barbera 11 is named after Joseph Barbera, co-founder of Hanna-Barbera, the studio which produced The Herculoids TV series. Barbera also directed the original series.
- The end of the comic contains an interview with David Pepose, writer of Dynamite's Captain Planet and the Planeteers comic series.
Errors
- On the first and second panels of page 21, Zandor is missing his face.
