Behind the scenes

  • The episode title is a reference to the saying "The grass is always greener." You're welcome.
  • This feels like it was written to be the pilot. The style is fairly different from the rest of the series; Pebbles & Bamm-Bamm act relatively new to the Crags, the Crags have a leader, who is presence is largely reduced in other episodes, and Barney attempts to do a Family Guy-style cutaway joke.
  • National Jurassic is a parody of National Geographic.
  • Dino does a dab dance, which seems to have been the sole reason for Boomerang SVOD dropping it from its planned 2019 streaming, after animation fans negatively responded to it. Sigh.

Errors

Everlasting influence

  • King T-Rocks reappears in "Bammnesia" and then several other episodes.
