"The Dangerous Desert" is the second episode of Micro Ventures season one, and came as part of The Banana Splits Adventure Hour. It aired on November 23, 1968 on NBC. It was produced and directed by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, the founders of Hanna-Barbera Productions.

The Space Agency calls in Professor Carter to retrieve a micro-sized circuit chip from the wreckage of a failed missile test.
