"The Bride of Darkseid" is the first episode of Superfriends: The Legendary Super Powers Show season one. It aired on September 8, 1984 on the ABC. It was written by Jeff Segal and Alan Burnett, and voice directed by Gordon Hunt.
Darkseid, the tyrannical ruler of the planet Apokolips, kidnaps and brainwashed Wonder Woman to be his wife.

Behind the scenes
- Olan Soule is replaced as Batman by Adam West, who is famous for playing the live-action version in the 60s Batman TV series, as well as in the Hanna-Barbera-produced Legends of the Superheroes specials. Soule, however, is still kept in the cast, now as Professor Stein.
- Shannon Farnon is replaced as Wonder Woman by Connie Cawlfield, but only for the season. Unlike Soule, Farnon does not get to play another character.
