Canceled
It's official, people are trying to cancel Boo Boo over a unofficial live action Yogi movie clip. They also have a tag saying "Boobooisoverparty". I wasn't aware of this until the video popped up out of nowhere in my suggestions. -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 21:47, 3 January 2021 (UTC)
- I thought that was gonna be recent. Not over a year ago. But who knew the little guy could cause such a stir. -- MisterJames (talk) 21:57, 3 January 2021 (UTC)
- I really didn't inspect this to happen. Let's hope this doesn't get as bad to the point that WB is cutting him out of the universe (like what they did with Scrappy). -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 22:17, 3 January 2021 (UTC)
- I don't think it will come to that. -- MisterJames (talk) 22:46, 3 January 2021 (UTC)
- I don't think it would come close to that ether. Because people (including WB) think Scrappy "killed" the franchise while for Boo Boo it was just a fan-made video of Boo Boo killing Yogi. -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 23:01, 3 January 2021 (UTC)

After looking it up some more, it seems to be dying down a little and I mean yes it sounds a little ridiculous to cancel a fictional character on Twitter. I would mainly assume this to be a joke and not to be taken for granted, it wouldn't be enough to cut him out though (not sure what I was thinking on that other reply I made). -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 07:47, 5 January 2021 (UTC)
Mother
I remember someone adding on a wiki that his mother was deceased. But I'm not exactly sure if she is or not. -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 18:54, 4 January 2021 (UTC)
- Seeing this in the activity list made me curious. I really don't believe that's true. I've seen all the cartoons, except for the last half dozen from The New Yogi Bear Show, so if she's mentioned in those, I don't believe so. Unless she was mentioned in a comic book or book. -- MisterJames (talk) 19:37, 4 January 2021 (UTC)
- I believe that it might have been somewhat referenced in the John K short "Boo Boo Runs Wild" where Yogi brings up that Smith "found" Boo Boo and brought him to Jellystone. -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 20:42, 4 January 2021 (UTC)
- I'm not exactly sure what else referenced this. This case is so tough that not even Snooper and Blabber could figure it out. -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 20:48, 4 January 2021 (UTC)

Changing in design
Boo Boo tends to change in design in some shorts, this is because they weren't to considered about having consistent model sheets for Boo Boo and Ranger Smith.[1] -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 06:41, 25 January 2021 (UTC)
Hyphen or no hyphen?
It seems that I'm confused with how Boo Boo's name is spelled in this wiki. At one hand, it's spelled as "Boo-Boo" with a hyphen (like in his Wikipedia article and in some model sheets). On the other hand, his name is spelled without it (as in most official comics and merchandise that I know of).
I wonder if there is a reason why these two spellings exist, and which one is commonly used? -- QuestJ65 (talk) 02:12, 20 July 2023 (UTC)
- I've wondered about that. I would go with no hyphen, but I guess whatever is more common, we could go with. -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 03:04, 20 July 2023 (UTC)
