"Squatter's Rights" is the twenty-third episode of Wally Gator season two, and the forty-ninth overall, which came as part of The Hanna-Barbera New Cartoon Series. It aired on August 5, 1963 in syndication. It was produced and directed by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, the founders of Hanna-Barbera.
A late uncle of Wally leaves him the will of a whole island in the Everglades, however, a castaway named Swampy Waters will get the island once Wally's out of the way.
