Scooby-Doo! Return to Zombie Island is an American animated campy horror direct-to-video (DTV) film that serves as a retcon of the original 1998 conventional horror direct-to-video film Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island, so that it doesn't breach the continuity of its 1969 predecessor TV series Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! It was released by Warner Home Video on September 3, 2019. It was written by Jeremy Adams, directed by Cecilia Aranovich Hamilton and Ethan Spaulding, and voice directed by Wes Gleason. The film is the twenty-ninth installment in the Scooby-Doo 2-D animated direct-to-video film series.
Let's go back to Zombie Island, where none of the zombies and werecats were real at all, making sure that you know once and for all that what you saw all those years ago was just your imagination running wild... Okay, are we clear? Having said that, why don't we give you a little hint that a werecat may be real after all? Have to leave some ambiguity, pshaw!
