Tim Matheson is an American actor and director. He is perhaps best known for lending his voice to the title character of the TV series Jonny Quest, during its initial run in the 1960s.
Aside from Jonny, Matheson also voiced Sinbad Jr. on Sinbad Jr. and his Magic Belt, Jace on Space Ghost, and Samson on Samson & Goliath.

Other roles
Apart from lending his voice to several animated characters, Mathieson's most notable live action role was Eric "Otter" Stratton in the 1978 comedy film National Lampoon's Animal House. He also played Vice President John Hoynes in the 2000s NBC drama The West Wing, which earned him two Primetime Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series.
