"Over the Fence is Out" is the ninth episode of Wally Gator season one, and came as part of The Hanna-Barbera New Cartoon Series. It aired on October 29, 1962 in syndication. It was produced and directed by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, the founders of Hanna-Barbera.

Wally escapes from the city zoo to explore the "great outdoors," but Twiddle comes up with a scheme to bring Wally back to the zoo.
