Release
Dates are in order of release:
- United States: June 22, 2002 on The WB; August 9, 2002 at 8 pm on Cartoon Network
Behind the scenes
- The episode title is a play on the 1922 film Nanook of the North.
- The girls watch Pony Puff Princess in their first scene; Pony Puff Princess was the favorite pony doll of Dee Dee in Cartoon Network's sister series Dexter's Laboratory.
- Mostess is a parody of Hostess.
- Professor's vanity plate reads "PWRPROF," in reference to the episode "Powerprof."
- Blossom gained ice breath in "Ice Sore."
Errors
- The Narrator says that the rain is only happening in Townsville, although if this was the case it would be over the Utonium's neighborhood. No, the rain is only going over downtown Townsville.
- The voice credits refer to the Monobot as Mono, who is voiced by Tom Kane, but the Monobot doesn't talk.
Marketing and promotion
- This episode was chosen to be used as the basis for the British female group Sugababes' music video "Angels with Dirty Faces" the same year.
