Lippy the Lion and Hardy Har Har is a series of animated segments as part of The Hanna-Barbera New Cartoon Series, produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions. Airing in syndication, it ran from 1962 to 1963, airing 52 episodes that spanned two seasons.
A go-happy lion named Lippy, and his depressed hyena friend, Hardy, try numerous attempts to achieving their goals, with that usually being trying to get either food or shelter.
The entire series has been released on DVD.

Cast
Legacy
Both Lippy and Hardy later appear as regular characters in the Max original series, Jellystone!, in which they are a married elderly couple, Hardy is an elderly woman in this series. In "Face of the Town!" and "Baby Shenanigans," they are implied to be over a hundred years old.

On January 11, 2020, the Warner Archive Collection released the whole series on a DVD set called Lippy the Lion and Hardy Har Har: The Complete Series.
