"Joining of the Knights" is the first episode of Arabian Knights season one, and came as a segment of The Banana Splits Adventure Hour. It aired on September 7, 1968 on NBC. It was produced and directed by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, the founders of Hanna-Barbera Productions.
When Bakaar's forces invade Baghdad, Prince Turhan is forced to flee to get help from his cousin in another city. Along the way, he encounters other freedom fighters, who, after their escape, form the Arabian Knights.
