Release

Dates are in order of release:

  • United States: May 13, 2014 on DVD
  • United Kingdom and Ireland: May 26, 2014 on DVD

Behind the scenes

  • The International Soccer Cup is a parody of the 2014 FIFA World Cup finals.
  • The American reporter's character model is reused from Diane, a British recruiter in the short film Scooby-Doo! Spooky Games.
  • Every time someone says Eshu, a "gesundheit" joke follows.
  • Shaggy says "Zoinks" once.
  • Velma says "Jinkies" once.

Errors

  • When first on the scene, the gang are all looking forward from a far-off shot, with Scooby and Velma bopping back and forth, but when it cuts to a close-up, they're looking to their left, and Scooby and Velma suddenly aren't bopping anymore.
  • Shouldn't the Brazilian team have been disqualified for using an American dog to score their winning goal?
