Behind the scenes

  • The episode title and the character's name are a play on "Debonair."
  • Deb O'Nair is a parody of Disney's titular Mary Poppins from the 1964 film of the same name.
    • The scene where she and the girls are running in an open field is an allusion to what Baronin Maria von Trapp did in the 1965 film The Sound of Music. Both characters were played by Julie Andrews.
