Clyde is an anthropomorphic gorilla and a main character in the Heyyy, It's the King! animated television shorts. His voice was originated by Don Messick.
Character description
Clyde is the brawn of the group, he has seemly immense strength, yet often "goofs up" when helping out the King.
Clyde appears in the Jellystone! reboot series, in which he is portrayed as reckless.

Development
According to early production material of the show, he was originally intended to be named "Square".[1]
Clyde was likely modeled after Moose from the Archie comic series by Archie Comics.
