"Watch Dog Augie" is the second episode of Augie Doggie and Doggie Daddy season one. It aired as a segment of The Quick Draw McGraw Show. It first aired on week of October 19, 1959 in first run syndication. It was written by Mike Maltese, and produced and directed by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, the founders of Hanna-Barbera.
Daddy allows to let Augie be a watchdog for one night, then disguises himself as a burglar just as a real burglar arrives.
