The Tom & Jerry Show is an American animated television series produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions for ABC's Saturday morning children's programming. It was also featured as a segment of The Tom & Jerry/Grape Ape Show. It ran in 1975 airing 16 episodes that spanned one season. It was the first television series based on the MGM theatrical shorts of Tom and Jerry from 1940 to 1967. The shorts from 1940 to 1957 were directed by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, who left in 1957 to form their own studio in Hanna-Barbera.
