Release

Dates are in order of release:

  • United States: April 25, 2024 on Max

Behind the scenes

  • Young Velma is watching the 1980 film The Shining, but with Dick and Penelope in the roles of Jack and Wendy, instead.
  • This is the second episode after "Velma," in which Dandruff Tuba loses a leg.
  • When Fred, Daphne, Norville, Amber, and Lola walk through the woods, the walk music plays from the original Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! TV series.
  • Velma got tackled by an unseen Uncle Scoobi in "The Mystery of Teen Romance."
  • The Uncle Scoobi guise being used by Sophie to head the project and to control Scrappy, is a reference to the nephew-uncle relationship with Scooby-Doo in the Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo 1979 spin-off.

Errors

  • When the bus crash occurred in the previous episode, both of Dandruff Tuba's were still attached.
  • Stephen Root isn't credited for voicing Earl.
  • Due to a mistake in the end credits, Sophie is revealed to be Uncle Scoobi, even though she doesn't talk as the latter in this episode.
