The Flintstone Kids is an American animated Stone Age comedy television series produced by Hanna-Barbera for ABC. It ran from 1986 to 1988, airing 34 episodes that spanned two seasons. It is a spin-off of The Flintstones, and the sixth incarnation of the Flintstones franchise. A few months after the series finished, there was one special about anti-drugs called The Flintstone Kids "Just Say No" Special.
This series depicted the Flintstone and Rubble couples as junior high kids before their marriage, where they get in and out of the familiar surroundings of Bedrock. Supporting characters of the main cast include Rocky Ratrock, the neighborhood bully; Dreamchip Gemstone, the rich girl stuck in a love triangle with Fred and Wilma; and Philo Quartz, the intelligent nerd who invents various gadgets.
There were also three other segments usually every other episode: Flintstone Funnies, where the kids had some big daydream, which included being private eyes or Hollyrock movie stars in relation to tackling their real problems; Dino's Dilemmas, which starred Freddy's pet, Dino; and Captain Caveman and Son, which was a show within a show, with the Flintstone Kids watching superhero Captain Caveman and his never before seen young son, Cavey Jr., fight crime in their own hometown of Bedrock.

There was also a PSA about kids wearing seatbelts, which is ironic since the first episode had Barney jumping around seatbelt-less in his dad's car.
The series did have some minor influence in other media, such as new kid Philo Quartz appearing as an adult in the 1994 TV movie A Flintstones Christmas Carol, and Cavey Jr. appearing in episodes of Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law and Jellystone! in the 2000s and 2020s, respectively.
