Behind the scenes
- Mike does the voices of Beavis and Butt-Head, Coach Buzzcut, Mr. Van Driessen, Principal McVicker, and Tom Anderson from the MTV show Beavis and Butt-Head, and Hank Hill from the Fox show King of the Hill.
- Off-screen, Space Ghost reverses time on Ghost Planet by flying around it, which is an allusion to Superman: The Movie, as Zorak even points out.
- Harland mentions the Disney character Winnie the Pooh.
- Space Ghost mentions how Mike should turn his show into the 1988 movie Die Hard, but set it on a bus, which is what the 1994 movie Speed is.
