The theme song, entitled "Scooby-Doo, Where Are You?", was written by Chris Bailey, and performed by David Poe. It was produced by Vivek Maddala. The episode's main music was performed by Steven Morrell.

Release

The episode had its American premiere via the Boomerang video subscription on-demand service on June 27, 2019. The episode then had a miraculous television premiere on Cartoon Network on July 8. In Canada, it premiered on the Teletoon on October 1, then debuted in the United Kingdom & Ireland on the Boomerang TV channel on October 8.

• It's unclear what the episode title is referring to because there is no backstory given to the swamp monster, so what's the revenge about?
• Scooby wonders where the squirrels have gone to while he chases them, but they looked more like gophers, although the intention might've been ground squirrels, although that seems unlikely, since there was also a common tree squirrel, too.
• On the night of the golfing tournament, the moon changes from full to crescent.
• Burt Friendly is listed as A. Friendly on the scoreboard.

Everlasting influence

• Burt Friendly has a cameo in "The Nightmare Ghost of Psychic U!", where his photo appears in Max Fielding Psychic University's 1965 yearbook. Although how would that not make him an old man today?
