When Scooby runs out of Scooby Snacks, Mystery Inc. take a detour to Mr. Peebles's pet shop to pick some up, where they discover comedian and guest star Wanda Sykes and a hatched monster egg.

The episode had its American premiere via the Boomerang video subscription on-demand service on July 11, 2019. The episode then had a miraculous television premiere on Cartoon Network on July 22. In Canada, it premiered on the Teletoon on October 3, then debuted in the United Kingdom & Ireland on the Boomerang TV channel on October 9.

• When Scooby hyperventilates due to being without Scooby Snacks, he motions forwards and then backwards next to Shaggy, and when Scooby moves backwards to his first position, Scooby's nose flickers brown for a brief second.
• Did the Quests give Bandit up for adoption? Why is he in Mr. Pebbles's pet store?
