Behind the scenes

  • This episode is a full-on love fest to the 1960s British rock band, the Beatles. So, here we go:
    • Sergeant Pepper is a reference to the Beatles' eighth studio album, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Band.
    • Moko Jono is a parody of Yoko Ono, who is seen as the girl who broke up the Beatles when she started dating John Lennon and changing things the other members didn't like.
    • When the girls find the Beat Alls on the roof, Him declares, "I'd just like to say thank you on behalf of the group and hope we passed the audition," which is a paraphrase of what Lennon said ("I'd like to say thank you on behalf of the group and ourselves") at the end of the band's rooftop concert on January 30, 1969.
  • When Mojo tells the others to imagine all the people and how annoyed they'll get at them causing a traffic jam is taken from Lennon's 1971 song "Imagine," wherein he says, "Imagine all the people."
