Lippy the Lion is an anthropomorphic lion and one of the main title characters in the Lippy the Lion and Hardy Har Har shorts. His voice was originated by Daws Butler.

Character description

Lippy is an talking lion with an reddish-brown mane. He wears a ragged pink top hat and an open purple vest.

A joyous swindler, Lippy prides himself in cheating his way in life. He attempts to scheme for money and food, but his actions would often lead to multiple failings, besting him in the process. His sidekick is Hardy Har Har, whom despite being his closest ally, is highly pessimistic of his doings.

In Jellystone!, Lippy is an elderly man who speaks in a Yiddish accent. He is married to Hardy, who is female in this series.
