"Hum Sweet Hum" is the seventh episode of Augie Doggie and Doggie Daddy season two, and the twenty-seveth overall. It came as part of The Quick Draw McGraw Show. It first aired on the week of March 14, 1960 on NBC. It was written by Mike Maltese, and produced and directed by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, the founders of Hanna-Barbera.

Augie wants to use Humboldt, a hummingbird, for a live broadcast on television, but unfortunately, Chops, a neighborhood cat, wants the bird for a snack.
