Behind the scenes

Dixie Wolf was an antagonist of Droopy in his series of MGM theatrical shorts, and also starred in his own spin-off short, Billy Boy. Dixie Wolf was originally voiced by the late Daws Butler.
Lil Bo Peep's model was also based on the "Ma" character (Droopy's wife) in the another Droopy short called Homesteader Droopy.
