Behind the scenes
- Even though this is Duplikate's first appearance, the Powerpuff Girls already know who she is.
- Blossom discovered her ice breath in the original series episode "Ice Sore."
- Bubbles said "It's clobbering time," the catchphrase of The Thing from Fantastic Four.
- The Girl with the Dragon Sticker is a parody of the 2005 novel The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, which was adapted into the 2011 film of the same name.
- There are several Batman references, with a transition scene of a Batman-like face from the 1960's TV series starring Adam West, the Mayor owning a Bat-signal (also similar to the Powerpuff-signal he had in "Superfriends"), and Buttercup and Bubbles wearing costumes similar to Batman and Robin; Bubbles is called Bubbs-wonder, but unfortunately Buttercup's new identity isn't given a name.
