Behind the scenes
- Yugi Bear's outfit is modeled after Yami Yugi, the main protagonist of the Yu-Gi-Oh! manga and its related anime adaptations.
- Gigaplant and Amazon of the Seas are actual Duel Monsters cards.
- Boo Boo White Dragon gets its name from the Blue-Eyes White Dragon card.
Errors
- Yugi's Smarter Than the Average Bear card immediately makes an attack on the first move. According to the actual card game rules, it doesn't happen when the player or their opponent makes their first turn, and only occurs afterwards when either one makes another turn.
