- In the South Park episode "Dances with Smurfs," there is a cross between The Smurfs, and the movies Avatar and Dances with Wolves, wherein Cartman integrates himself with the Smurfs in Smurfland to save them and the Smurfberries from Wendy, who fills in for Gargamel.
