Tiny Toon Adventures

Tiny Toon Adventures is an American slapstick comedy animated television series created by Tom Ruegger, and produced by Warner Bros. Animation and Steven Spielberg's Amblin Entertainment. It aired from September 14, 1990 to December 6, 1992, with a total of 98 episodes (233 segments) across three seasons. The pilot episode premiered on CBS, before moving to first-run syndication for the rest of the first season and the second season, and ended its third and final season on Fox's Fox Kids block. It was canceled in favor of the production team's decision to focus on Animaniacs, which was a spiritual successor to Tiny Toon Adventures. Despite this, two specials were made in 1994.
For the next generation of Looney Tunes, there is only one place to learn, and that's at Acme Looniversity in Acme Acres. Join the likes of young comedic hopefuls Buster and Babs Bunny (no relation), Plucky Duck, Hamton J. Pig, Sweetie Bird, Dizzy Devil, Furrball, Gogo, Elmyra, and Montana Max studying from their teachers Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Sylvester, Tweety, Granny, Elmer Fudd, and Yosemite Sam.
A reboot began in 2023, called Tiny Toons Looniversity, for Max and Cartoon Network, in which Buster and Babs are related.
Tiny Toon Adventures contains a multitude of pop culture references to what came before and during the series, including the works of Hanna-Barbera, the studio which Ruegger himself was a writer for in the 1980s, even creating A Pup Named Scooby-Doo for them, which he left after the first season to work for Warner Bros. Animation to develop Tiny Toon Adventures.

Other
- Ralph the security guard was inspired by Dimwittie, from The New Scooby-Doo Mysteries episode "A Scarey Duel With a Cartoon Ghoul," written by Tom Ruegger. Ruegger remembered that Frank Welker had played the role of Dimwittie, and cast him in the role of Ralph. Ralph would also appear in Animaniacs.
