Theodore Crawford Cassidy was an American actor known for his height and deep voice. He was notable for portraying Lurch in The Addams Family TV sitcom, of which he voiced an animated version in Hanna-Barbera's 1973 cartoon series of the same name, as well as a guest appearance in The New Scooby-Doo Movies from a year earlier.
Cassidy died on January 16, 1979 of complications from a heart surgery at the age of 46.
