Wait Till Your Father Gets Home Blu-ray release Street Date Delay

So here's the latest news on WAIT TILL YOUR FATHER GETS HOME: THE COMPLETE SERIES Blu-ray. Due to unexpected production delays (not distribution or replication delays, which have been the culprit for other delays), the Blu-ray will not be releasing on Nov. 26th as originally planned. My understanding is that this additional time will only make for a better release and that it shouldn't cause too long of a delay. So if you were hoping to get this by Christmas, you probably are out of luck. But it will eventually be released. Hopefully, George Feltenstein of the Warner Archive can provide more information on the January Announcement podcast. So keep a look out for that soon.
Below is the full statement from the Warner Archive: "Apologies to our dedicated customers who we know are looking forward to our Blu-ray release of WAIT TILL YOUR FATHER GETS HOME. The bad news is that it will not be available in time for the previously announced 11/26 street date due to unanticipated production delays. The good news is that we hope to have a new street date announcement to make very soon. Please check back with us here and we will be announcing the new street date when confirmed as definite. The Warner Archive Collection team appreciates your understanding and support."

- It's unfortunate when this happens, although I haven't really planned on buying anything else for the time being, I'm still hopeful that it'll get released sooner than later. -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 18:34, 20 November 2024 (UTC)
