According to Warner Archive Collection:

TOP CAT SING-ALONG In the tradition of great screen conmen-one of the few with a visible tail- TOP CAT holds a top spot in the hearts of classic animation fans. The second of Hanna-Barbera’s prime-time network animated sitcoms, TOP CAT debuted on ABC television on Wednesday September 27, 1961. The series only ran for one season in prime-time, but continued to be popular through a mix of continued Saturday morning network reruns and syndication for more than three decades thereafter. Arnold Stang provided the voice of the smooth-talking New York City cat, known as T.C. to his gang of cohorts Benny the Ball, Choo Choo, Spook, The Brain and Fancy Fancy. These cats were always on the make toward a big score or swindle. And the bothersome – and ever exasperated- Office Dibble (voiced by legendary character actor Allen Jenkins) is relentlessly on Top Cat’s case (although always one step behind). This 4-disc Blu-ray set contains all 30 original episodes, newly remastered in 1080p HD from 4K scans off the original camera negatives, with the series offering top-shelf entertainment for fans. More than 60 years after it debuted, TOP CAT continues to be a comic delight of animated fun for audiences of all ages."

So what are your thoughts about this and should that be pre-ordered as well? --Michael (talk) 03:13, 29 June 2024 (UTC)

Yeah, I have heard about it, hopefully this will be the start of new and old released content for Hanna-Barbera. -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 18:20, 29 June 2024 (UTC)
I also hope that The Perils of Penelope Pitstop will also be in restored HD when it airs on MeTV Toons next month, just like Wacky Races. --Michael (talk) 21:33, 29 June 2024 (UTC)
Sounds good. Top Cat is actually one of my favorite HB cartoons and I may be looking forward to this release. It's unfortunate that it wasn't popular when it first aired, due to what I assume was a mashup between cartoon animals and a sitcom format, but I think it's just because general audiences weren't used to that kind of thing (think Bojack Horseman for example, another animated sitcom with an anthropomorphic cast). But regardless, the show really shines with the comradery of T.C. and the crew, which was something other Hanna-Barbera shows did but not to a larger extent up until that point. Dry humor wasn't exactly my thing until I got older, but rewatching it made me appreciate Top Cat's sarcastic quips more that expected. Perhaps it's just me having a bit of sophisticated taste, but I would like to to describe the humor as a combination of slapstick from their short-form cartoons and the witty dialogue from The Flintstones (season 2 to be exact). -- QuestJ65 (talk) 23:06, 29 June 2024 (UTC)

Top Cat: The Complete Series Blu-ray Release Update

Hey Snoopy, according to this and here's the link as well: https://www.facebook.com/theextrastv/posts/pfbid02xAQgJf3vYwMpCx1DSjtGopVegPi1FQFja7kMYU5JJnsvmHn1CvknJZZ9pumv5Zz9l

RELEASE UPDATE! TOP CAT: THE COMPLETE SERIES is releasing today but inventory is low due to delays in manufacturing. So it will be a slow trickle and you may not receive your copy for a while. Amazon is still taking orders which means they do have some more stock coming soon. However, they can't give a ship date on new orders. This is similar to the recent delays with THE ALASKANS & SUPERFRIENDS. Let us know if you've received any emails saying when you will receive your Amazon copy.

So could be the cause of this Snoopy? --Michael (talk) 18:16, 17 September 2024 (UTC)

Perhaps... -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 20:04, 17 September 2024 (UTC)
