Paring Tom and Jerry with Grape Ape in the 70s was an odd choice for them. I think the Grape Ape episodes were reruns from when he was on his own show. -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 16:26, 19 March 2021 (UTC)

Tom's motive

I already know for a fact that Tom chases Jerry, but I don't think there was an instance where Tom tries to eat him. The closest I can think of was the beginning of their first cartoon, "Puss Gets the Boot", but that was more of a tease than actual instinct. --QuestJ65 (talk) 01:27, 16 November 2022 (UTC)

Hey James, i think Tom and Jerry actually do speak in the old comic books, as do the Pink Panther and Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner as well.

Wile E. Coyote also speaks when he comes up against Bugs Bunny as well.
