Talk:The Jetsons (TV series)

The 80s are a very confusing time. New Yogi, new Jonny Quest, and new Jetsons. Different places will either say their 60s and 80s counterparts are in the same series, or completely different from each other. 60s Jetsons and 80s Jetsons are definitely seen as one series more than the other two. But I have seen at least one piece of work that referred to the latter episodes as The New Jetsons. So, I'm not sure if we should do something daring and separate them, or keep them together. -- MisterJames (talk) 21:04, 24 September 2020 (UTC)

It's practically based on how similar the series is to the original. For an example, the Jellystone! series is obviously different from original Yogi Bear, Huckleberry Hound, Snagglepuss, Augie Doggie etc. series. Meaning they shouldn't share a page with one another. -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 21:25, 24 September 2020 (UTC)

Judy and Elroy spin-off

Yowp talks about a spin-off that had Judy and Elroy as older kids, and apparently there had been several attempts revolving around that idea but in different forms, like a variety show, or Judy dating or trying to get a date with Jet Screamer, even Astro taking care of a bunch of other little dogs. The variety show had Mark Evanier involved. https://www.newsfromme.com/2007/02/28/judys-turn-to-cry/ -- MisterJames (talk) 15:17, 7 June 2021 (UTC)

Think I read something about that somewhere, seems like an interesting idea, especially since they already had more than one show where they turned Pebbles and Bamm Bamm into teens. -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 16:10, 7 June 2021 (UTC)

Sky Pad Apartments

In the first episode, George lands on the parking lot rooftop of the apartment building, where there's a sign for that scene that reads "Sky Pad Apartments" which is fine (although it had been useful if it had been used more than once), except it does cause an oddity with the spelling of Mrs. Skypad's name in Jetsons: The Movie. It's only implied that Mrs. Skypad (or perhaps her husband) is the namesake for Sky Pad Apartments, although would that make her Mrs. Sky Pad? It doesn't seem right, but maybe there's nothing wrong with her being the namesake and her name being spelt as one word instead of two? -- Signed by James (talk) 10:36, 25 June 2021 (UTC)

Hard to indicate on who it's referring to either Mr. Sky Pad or Mrs. Sky Pad. -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 15:17, 25 June 2021 (UTC)

Episode disambiguations

I'm not sure about some of these bracketed disambiguations, which ones should or shouldn't be. -- Signed by James (talk) 22:23, 26 November 2021 (UTC)
