About Futurevision

Hey James, when the Hanna-Barbera VHS releases were re-released on November 3, 1986 in the United Kingdom and Ireland, they were actually still released by The Video Collection and distributed by Futurevision, they have the 1986 VCI ident at the start and end of them and also feature The Video Collection "New Catalogue" 1986 promo featuring the voiceover of Ray Brooks of Mr. Benn fame.

Here's the 1986 VCI ident which appears on the Hanna-Barbera and Ruby-Spears VHS releases in the late 1980s: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7arYItnm3-k

Do you remember those James and thoughts? --Michael (talk) 00:27, 20 January 2023 (UTC)

I don't think that second one specifically, but others. I guess they were a force to be reckoned with back in the day, but I was never really a fan of that logo. It's pretty gloomy. -- Signed by James (talk) 00:37, 20 January 2023 (UTC)

Also, will it either be in the original 4:3 aspect ratio or will it still be in 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio?

What are your thoughts about this anyway? --Michael (talk) 14:51, 18 April 2023 (UTC)

I think it will be a nice release. --- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 15:23, 18 April 2023 (UTC)
